Code This! — How do you code this?
Naples, October 1997. Uncle Peppe’s copy shop starts making websites, and you’re the only one who understands the internet.

Clients write emails. You write the code — real HTML, real CSS, real PHP — and watch the site come alive in a 1997 browser. Read between the lines: what they ask for is in the list, what they really like is hidden in the email.

In this demo (chapters 1–2, 1997–2006):
• 14 clients, from a pizzeria to a death-metal band, a wedding singer and a dot-com startup
• HTML with <marquee>, <blink> and visitor counters, then CSS, PHP and a real database
• An interactive lesson every time a new language arrives, with your assistant Spillo
• Modem speeds, the shop, the euro changeover, deadlines that cost you money
• The whole interface changes with the era: Windows-ish 97, then XP
• Playable in Italiano, English, Deutsch, Français, Español

The full game goes on to 2026: smartphones and JavaScript, Python and data, and an AI assistant that writes code for you — and gets it wrong with total confidence.
No coding experience needed. Keyboard required.
